I am continuing on with the subscription donation project. The organization for March is Apocalyptic Artists Ensemble. This is a great arts education organization founded and run by some friends from grad school and I’m so happy to be able to support them. If you are new here (welcome!) or need a refresher, you can always find more details of the project on my About page. And if you want to be a matching donor, let me know.
This newsletter means a lot to me. If you are connecting with the work at all, please consider clicking the heart button and/or leaving a comment and/or sharing it.
And thank you, as always, for being here. Your extra support is particularly meaningful to me.
After last week’s newsletter, my friend Sam called me out for not including a picture of creepy Big Bird. This was a rightful call out. I had looked for a picture or two from that time but couldn’t find any in my stash so I didn’t put one in.
But Sam suggested a screenshot. A screenshot?!?! Did y’all know about screenshots??
I had completely forgotten.
Thanks to Sam for the reminder. And now, here is some creepy Big Bird to haunt your dreams (nightmares.)
So, until next week, remember that knock off movie and tv characters don’t reside only in Times Square, sometimes they are in your own house. And keep on tryping your best.
