I am continuing on with the subscription donation project. The organization for November is the Native American Food Sovereignty Alliance (NAFSA). If you are new here (welcome!) or need a refresher, you can always find more details of the project on my About page. And if you want to be a matching donor, let me know.
Thank you for being with me on this journey. This newsletter means a lot to me. If you are connecting with the work at all, please consider clicking the heart button, leaving a comment, and/or sharing it. Let’s get a few more subscriptions before the end of the month, eh?
Merry happy whatever my friends.
I hope you had a wonderful holiday and celebrated or rested or hibernated in whatever way you needed. I know I am particularly thankful for all of you this year.
Knowing I was going out of town over the weekend, I tried hard to plan ahead to write today’s edition but…I did not plan ahead enough. So, this week is a little short. I’ll just recommend a couple of organizations to get to know and/or support this holiday season:
Since you all are already here, you know this month’s subscription donation project organization is the Native American Food Sovereignty Alliance (NAFSA) so I am double recommending you check them out. Native food sovereignty, in general, is important to learn about and the documentary Gather is a great place to start.
@transanta is a “mutual aid social media campaign that connects anonymous gift-givers with trans youth.” You can donate directly to the organization or find the process for sending gifts directly here.
Next week, I’ll be back with something more robust - a gift guide! If there are gift suggestions you’d like, leave me a comment and I’ll try to fit them in if I can.

This week, I took a little break from the extra edition. But the paying subscribers and I would love to have you join us at any time.
